Smile Train Brings Smiles to Mabaret Elasfra West, Egypt

In February 2015, Smile Train and Dr. Ahmed Serag Eldeen traveled to Mabaret Elasafra West Hospital in Egypt to help children with cleft lips and palates.  While in Egypt, Dr. Eldeen was able to perform free cleft repairs surgeries on children, partner with local physicians, and teach students at the local university.  Over the past two years, Smile Train has provided over 1,000 cleft repair surgeries to children in the Middle East.
